Graphic Design Coordinator

As a Design Coordinator at Walking Softer, I created comprehensive brand decks for public and internal consumption, strategized and built social media marketing campaigns from conception to completion, developed web designs and user experience, designed and printed branded merchandise, and assisted in strategizing for long-term creative marketing goals across the organization.

​Walking Softer is a climate-driven nonprofit on a mission to inform, inspire, and support Changemakers to take bold and immediate action in the conservation and regeneration of our planet.

Impact Reports

I've concepted, developed, and designed 2 years of impact reports for Walking Softer {2024 coming soon}. Competitor research within the climate and non-profit space was conducted, and brand expression was utilized to curate a bold and clean editorial design.

Curriculum Design

Walking Softer Education offers climate driven education and solutions to high school age students. I developed a series of 10-15 curriculum deck designs, updated annually. Below is an example of one of those designs.

Pooja Tilvawala

Seeking brand presence and community engagement at global climate events, Walking Softer paired up with Pooja Tilvawala, a prior Young Leaders Award recipient and integral part of the Youth Climate movement as the Founder of Youth Climate Collaborative. I developed social media assets for Instagram and our blog, by editing footage that Pooja provided, from her travels at events such as New York Climate Week and COP24.

Beyond The Haze

Beyond The Haze began as a social media series of "Good News" content. I conducted research to locate positive, climate-driven stories around the globe and developed short form video content to share these stories on a larger platform.

Web Design

During my time at Walking Softer, I have created from scratch and redesigned the following webpages, contributing with during the entirety of the UI process, from R&D to competition:
Education and Learning Materials, Arctic pages (private audience), Policy Partners.

I have also contributed ideation and review to a full website audit, that is currently underway.

In order to create a lower-touch form of content, our team agreed to switch gears and turn Beyond the Haze into a weekly form of content. We did this by creating reusable Beyond the Haze titles, where we could share links to "Good News" articles, on Instagram stories. This low-touch form of content proved to perform better and increase our engagement with our audience.

Evergreen

A form of filler content for our social media platforms, that is intended to demonstrate brand presence and engage a larger audience, with appealing and fun visuals.

UI/UX

Burning Hot Takes

In order to promote our second annual Leadership Summit, we developed "Burning Hot Takes": a video series that features a group of changemakers and leaders from diverse backgrounds, who answer a series of questions related to climate and action.

Education and Learning Materials

I completed a full redesign of the Education page, from research and development to completion, seeing the project through the pipeline from start to end. Our Education program expanded to offer open-source learning materials and curriculum and needed a web design that increased accessibility and reflected these changes.

I adjusted the Partners page by placing more emphasis on 5 specific investors and creating drop-down menus that streamlined information.
